New AINetwork Guidelines: Supporting Social Dialogue on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace
We are pleased to present the AINetwork Guidelines, developed as part of the international AIDialogue project to support social partners in addressing the challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence and algorithmic management in the workplace.
The document serves as a key reference for the AINetwork advisory network, which will operate in five participating countries, including Slovakia. It provides an overview of the applications of artificial intelligence in the workplace, the opportunities and risks involved, and the relevant European legal framework.
Particular attention is paid to the positions of European social partners, transparency in algorithmic decision-making, the protection of workers' rights, and opportunities for collective bargaining in the context of digital transformation.
The Guidelines also build on the principles of the European Social Partners' Framework Agreement on Digitalisation and highlight the importance of social dialogue in ensuring the responsible introduction of new technologies.
As a project partner, the National Union of Employers (RÚZ) contributes to the implementation of AIDialogue and the provision of expert advisory services to social partners in Slovakia. If you are interested in an individual consultation on the introduction of artificial intelligence and algorithmic management in the workplace, please contact us at cibikova@ruzsr.sk.
